What’s the best thing about working in media sales?

The diversity and scope of the job. International media sales is a fab industry to work in and the people in the industry are real fun to deal with both at work and socially.

What’s the best or worst sales line you’ve ever used/heard?

It was a morning meeting after a very heavy drinking night before.

I was referring to the fact that travel agents use a particular hotel directory to book hotels internationally but could not find the right words to explain why they used the directory.

So instead of a proper sales pitch – I simply said: "Well, the travel agents used the directory because…..because they do!"
